Somehow, an unfamiliar passion that came back.
A Thousand Years - Christina Perri

I know, this song came out together with/for Breaking Dawn: Part 1 more than half a year ago, and I'm talking about only, well, now. To be truly honest, ever since Twilight series went into the big screen, it disappoints me a lot. Changed my views and impressions of the characters, the books... And I totally lost my passion and feel for how I adored Edward and Bella.

I was never one for vampires story, not now either, but I've only read Twilight as an exception. I remembered the way I liked it throughout the 4 books, but past tense, I no longer feel the same way after the movies, sadly. (Except squealing over Taylor Lautner(!) - Jacob in the movie occasionally - doesn't make sense because I WAS Team Edward in the books.) I only continued watching the movie because well, I've read, watched, and I don't like to leave things hanging.

"I have died everyday, waiting for you
Darlin' don't be afraid
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more"

However, after finally having the heart to pay attention to the lyrics of "A Thousand Years" today, the unfamiliar sensation and passion I had for the books, Edward and Bella, came back to me, just a little, but enough to remind me why, I liked them. :) It can't be explained in words, but by looking at the lyrics, it was a nice reminder, really nice realisation.

The feelings I have for the series as a whole would never be the same again, but still, at least something is still there.:D

Not the movie though. The movie, in my opinion, can never compensate for how good the books were.
