Squealing, and a little theory.

Why has this got to do with "books"? Hee. Just a little something I want to point out. Hold on.

The MTV Movie Awards 2012, took place earlier today, just now in fact, and I'm squealing over the fact that Josh Hutcherson won Best Male Performance for his character as Peeta Mellark from the now-famous-and-hot books/movie, The Hunger Games. I only read the book after I watched the movie, but I loved the movie as much as the books! And why am I squealing is because well, I've supported Josh like forever, watched him since he's 'young', from Bridge to Teribithia, till Journey 1, Journey 2, now Hunger Games. Anyway, Jennifer Lawrence won for Best Female Performance too! And I thought she deserved it :) I'm just disappointed about the best movie award... Okay, main point.

Besides squealing though, I just suddenly came to the realisation that, hey, movies that are made from books and novels seems to be DOMINATING the movie industry nowadays! For MTV movie awards at least, not original scripted movies but those made from books. Harry Potter... Twilight... Hunger Games. Look at all THOSE popularity.

With Harry Potter concluded last year, and Twilight concluding upcoming this year, it may have seem like the movies-from-books thing would die down a little, but in my opinion, with 2 more movies to come from Hunger Games, and some upcoming movies-from-books (especially YA series) that I know of like "Divergent" by Veronica Roth, it seems like it's going to last for a long, long while.

Have yet to start Divergent, though.

But if this movies-from-books thing is gonna go on, I want my Wings Series to be part of the success. :)
